I dont know how many times I have typed this blog post and erased it. In the end, there is no good way to explain how I feel about Christmas.
So I wont.
Im only gonna say that last Christmas I was given some epic advice on letting Christmas be what it really is. And last May I heard a CES talk by Elder Bednar titled "Things as they really are" that only cemented it.
Christmas for our family was wonderful and very enjoyable. Also, Im glad its only once a year.
HAHA! My philosophy is... try to buy one present less this year than I did last year. No really, I try to buy the least amount of presents possible every year and I still feel like the 'gift giving' part overtakes my Holiday. Drives me a little nuts.
