What is a blog?

I've decided to start a blog. What is a blog? Unless your a heavy web surfer, or a technical dork, you probably don't really know.

From webopedia.com: Short for Web log, a blog is a Web page that serves as a publicly accessible personal journal for an individual. Typically updated daily, blogs often reflect the personality of the author.

Instead of writing generic "my family this year" emails, or instead of calling everyone and asking "so whats going on in your life", I've decided to give this blog thing a try. I enjoy reading others blogs.

So here goes nothing...
